Smiling

The first one was just a cute pic we took a while ago, the other two I took last night.  Hasn't she grown?! She started smiling, it is so rewarding to get a nice big smile out of her!

Henry is 3!

We went bowling for Henry's birthday.  I love the picture of Tom and Henry watching the ball roll down the lane.  His actual birthday was on Sunday and Grandma Kiehl was nice enough to let us host it at her house.  She invited my parents and Grandpa Smith over for dinner.  It was a beautiful day!  I ordered the Thomas cake from a lady that makes cakes in her home and delivers them to your doorstep for a very reasonable price!  I may never make a cake again!  It was delicious!  Grandpa Kiehl took my grandpa and a me and all the kids on a tour of the farm in the truck.  It was an exciting ride! We love you Henry!

Betsy Ross

Meg was Betsy Ross for her second grade famous American presentation.  They did a great song and dance and then had a living museum where you could go around and ask them questions.  She really loved studying about Betsy!  Thank goodness for Grandma Kiehl who doesn't get rid of anything, we had an awesome outfit for her!!!

Vivien is Blessed

We blessed Vivien on February 19th, the day after Meg's baptism.  We were glad that Heather and Kathy could be there for that too.  She wore the gown that Grandma Kiehl had gotten for Meg.  She was perfect and didn't make a peep!

More Photos from the Baptism

Mozarts made us a great lemon cake with raspberry filling...YUM! And I had to show off some shots of Vivien in her dress from Aunt Heather and headband from Aunt Betsy.  Super pretty!

It's Great to be EIGHT!

Meg turned 8 on February 9. She requested a peanut butter pie for her birthday and for her friend party. I like how Henry is "helping" her blow out the candles. We had a few friends over for a "late-over", as that was about all I could handle this year. She is such a wonderful daughter and such a great helper to me! I wouldn't be able to do it without her. She was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on February 18th. Her daddy baptized her. She asked her grandmas to give the prayers and for Mommy and Grandpa Kiehl to give the talks. So many of our sweet friends were there, it was humbling to fill the room with those that love our little Meg. We had a gathering afterwards at our house with tons of food. Heather and Kathy came in town for the baptism too!

Who Wants to Hold the Baby?

Meg is my biggest helper and loves to hold her baby sister.  Henry would love to hold her all the time, but it's hard for him NOT to stick his fingers in her eyes...it's just too tempting!
