Charlie loves his Daddy

Charlie's school had a VIP night. You were to invite your VIP to attend with you. So Charlie and Tom went. Brutus the Buckeye was there, the Buckeye cheerleaders were there. It was quite a night. Everyone was dressed in their Buckeye gear and the school was decorated like the Horse Shoe. They made a bunch of Buckeye crafts and played lots of games. I was very impressed when I heard all about it. It really made an impression on Charlie and he loves to talk about it still. He carries his VIP night picture of Tom and him around and even slept while holding it one night, so I had to get a picture. I thought this was so cute. He also sleeps with his "great white shark" and his blankies (the pacie is now officially retired). I like his blanky on his head too!

My Baby is 1!

Henry turned 1 on March 11. He is getting so big. This year has gone by so fast, too much happening! I made Henry a cupcake cake. He loves Dora and Diego (like his brother) so that's how we decorated them and shaped them into the #1. We didn't get a very good shot of it, but it turned out pretty good (if I do say so myself!).

My Aunt Kathy is holding Henry and my Aunt Becky is looking on. Kathy, Becky, Grandpa Smith, Matt, Jen, Rob, Calvin, Chloe, Shauna, Dan, James & Benjamin, Grandma & Grandpa Rayburn and Grandma Kiehl were all there to celebrate with us. It was quite a party for such a little guy. He thoroughly enjoyed his cupcake!

We love our Henry and are so happy that he is a part of our family. We can't imagine life without him.

Meg is 6!!!

My Aunt Amy and cousin Emily came to visit from California the week of Meg's birthday, so my mom's side of the family came out to see her, so we had a party! My cousin Melissa works for a great bakery in Pittsburgh, so she brought the cake. Isn't it cute!? The next picture is (from the left) Emily's cousin Bridgette, Emily, my grandpa & Henry, and Melissa. The last picture is Grandpa feeding Henry some Graeter's Black Raspberry Chip ice cream...he's enjoying it, and my Aunt Amy on the side.

It was so great to see everyone. I felt, as I feel every time any of our family comes to visit, that I wish we could all live close together. It is hard to only see everyone so rarely. We miss those that live far away!

The World of Bounce

For Meg's 6th birthday this year we went to the World of Bounce. The kids all loved it, especially Charlie. He hasn't stopped talking about it ever since. We've gone back about once a week since then because Charlie asks me about 75 times per day if we can go. I liked the pictures displaying all the attention Henry got from Meg's friends. Those are two friends from school: Emily and Macy S.
