NASA with Grandpa!
On Friday, we took a trip to the NASA Space Center which is about 30 miles south of Houston, so it was quite a trip for us and took a little over an hour to get there. I guess about 50 elementary classes had the same idea as us as well, because it was packed! The kids loved all of the rocket ships though! This is a picture they took of us before we got on a tram to tour the Johnson Space Center campus. I took a picture of the photo with my camera, so that's why it isn't very clear. But, we thought it was so hilarious with Charlie giving the number one, or pointing up like we were about to take off on an actual rocket ship! It was a very long day for all of us, but we were glad we went, it was really neat. They had the Saturn V in a building laying on it's side that you could walk around. It must have been the length of 5 football fields. Can you tell how tired we all are in the picture? Charlie with his blankey and pacie, and Meg's expression explains it all. And after fighting rush hour traffic to get home we still had Meg's fundraiser to go to that night! I was almost in tears when Tom called and said he would be late to the fundraiser...Help me Rhonda!
