We just love the Outer Banks, and Corolla especially. Our house was just about 1/2 mile from the nature preserve where the wild horses reside. It's an amazing thing to be walking along the beach and see wild horses walking through the surf or grazing up on the dunes. They were spectacular. We were lucky to see so many together at the same time. I loved the little foal and his mommy, and then the black stallion arrived and the party was over. He did not want people coming any closer! I'm glad Meg got to see them!
