Mommy's Surprise!

A couple things happened on this trip. I was in my first trimester of my pregnancy and was not feeling the greatest. Our first day there, it had been a long trip down and Henry really needed a nap. I set up his pack and play and put him in and closed the door, just like I usually do. Well, just a minute later the door opened and out walked Henry with a huge smile on his face! He felt like this would be a good time to start climbing out of the crib. Well, several shed tears later (all by me) we set up the trap that you see above: wall on one side and a tall dresser on the other. (Luckily, it's only the pack and play he can climb out of...he's still trapped in the crib at home!)
Well, another thing that has happened every morning for the past 7 1/2 years is: the second any of our kids wake up (those that aren't in cribs) the immediately come in to find Mommy and make sure she wakes up too! Well, one morning on vacation I was getting to sleep in more then usual, so I was laying there awake wondering why the kids weren't up yet...when I heard some voices coming from the other room. I went over to peak in and saw both boys awake and Charlie was sitting reading to Henry. For some reason he decided to not come and wake me up, but instead to entertain his little brother for a while so I could sleep. Now, this never happened again, but it was such a sweet little scene, I just had to capture it. Brothers!
